FeedFusion - new RSS reader

I've been asked to contribute in the developing process of FeedFusion which is a WinFX RSS application as it was a bright idea to bring some clarity to the plain RSS's by building application that benefit from the WPF graphics engine as it also will be rarely to use a decoupled RSS reader as this capability is already built-in the most commonly used browsers.. i didn't take a decision yet as i will have a meeting Sbirlea Dragos the founder of FeedFusion .

you may check the project and download the source code if you want. from the same address and guys tell me what do you think.

later duds.

Head First: Design Pattern

Great book, completely new way of illustrating the subject which is really benefit from the friendly papers that book enclosed.

The book depends on the famous Gang Of Four - GOF - book which considered to be the godfather of the software design pattern, this book is highly recommended for those who are have solid knowledge in the field of Object-Oriented Design. The examples are written in Java which is sucks - Viva C# ;) - but if you a C# Developer theres nothing to worry about it's almost the same syntax.. only you may skip some sections illustrating some built in Java support for a given pattern

for C# Developer after reading this book you widen you knowledges with how C# can easily kick Java's *beep when you see how many of architecture concepts that Java doesn't support

you may download the book using www.emula-project.com
check the book on Amazon .

SQLCLR more than in-process extended procedures

Ahh, finally theres another way to write extended stored procedure without diving into the C++ hell and guess what it runs in-process with SQL Server.

SQLCLR is the result of hosting the .NET Runtime into the SQL Server kernal so you can now write, deploy and run managed code.

imagin the power of leverage the .NET Class Library - you can't accsess all clasess eg. Widowns Forms, GDI+, etc - and the use of rich IDE like Visual Studio 2005.

finally SQLCLE is a great way to write stored procedures, user defind function, triggers and aggregations.

.NET Framework 3.0 (Formaly WinFX) with Vista ?

Start to look at the new development framework from Microsoft specialy the LinQ features but the question is if the Windows Vista delayed as i expected to the 3rd quarter of 2007 is that mean that Vista will shipped with .NET Freamwork 3.0 pre-installed.

NOT enough

if you need to learn about the MSMQ this book isn't the right choice but it's good as a "getting started" for that topic it discuss only the private queues with poor example.
